Griffith Airport

This project involved the construction of a new steel frame and glass structure to house check-in, care hire, arrival and departure sections of this busy regional airport, in conjunction with the refurbishment of all service areas. The building elements combine full two story height double glazed windows, colorbond and fibrous cement cladding. The challenge with this project was to undertake all works whilst the airport services maintained its full schedule of flights every day of the build. This involved managing the building process alongside staff and traveller safety and comfort. The Griffith Airport is the gateway to this thriving regional city.
