Refurbishment of four existing High School Science Laboratories situated on the ground and 1st floors for NSW department of Education and Training.
The project involved the stripping out leaving the original concrete and brick shell of the existing building originally completed in the early 70’s.
Work consisted of new corrugated iron acoustic ceiling and plasterboard lined steel stud walls to existing external walls
Aluminium framed fixed glass to replace exiting glass louvred windows. Installation of new fixed joinery, laboratory sinks and drainage.
Electrical rewiring, reverse cycle air-conditioning, plumbing and drainage. New vinyl floor coverings, loose furniture and painting.
Safely carried over 10 week period during normal school hours and to the satisfaction of the teaching staff and with due care and no disruption to the daily activity of the students.
